Cold-brewing coffee is as simple as soaking ground coffee in an airtight container overnight.

After at least 8 hours of allowing the coffee to cold-brew, strain using a coffee filter or cheesecloth in a mesh strainer.

Iced Coffee with Homemade Coconut Caramel Creamer

Take your already delicious iced coffee to a whole new level by adding a homemade coconut caramel creamer for added sweetness and flavor. Serve over frozen coffee ice cubes for an even more robust taste.

Iced Coffee Recipe with Homemade Coconut Caramel Creamer

Serves 4

Ingredients:

For the iced coffee

  • 1 cup good-quality coffee grounds
  • 6 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes or coffee ice cubes

For the coconut caramel creamer

  • 1 cup milk (whole, low-fat or skim)
  • 2 tablespoons cream of coconut
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce

Directions:

For the iced coffee

  1. Place coffee grounds and water in a pitcher or large jar. Stir well to combine. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
  2. Strain in a mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth or a coffee filter.
  3. Pour over ice cubes or coffee ice cubes. Add desired amount of creamer and stir well to incorporate.

For the coconut caramel creamer

  1. Place all ingredients in a jar or other container. Stir well to combine. Cover and refrigerate.
