Yummy Valentine's Day treat

Show the love by decorating a cake for your valentine.


Supplies:

  • Cake
  • Knife
  • Frosting
  • Fondant
  • Heart-shaped cookie cutter
  • Valentine's cake toppers

Directions:

  1. Roll out pre-colored fondant.
  2. Cut the fondant with a cookie cutter to create heart shapes.
  3. Start at the top of the cake placing the hearts.
  4. Start the second row of hearts halfway down the first row of hearts.
  5. Cut the ends off the final row of hearts before putting in place.
  6. Once you have placed the final row of hearts, steam the fondant to remove the powdered sugar and to make the fondant look glossy.
  7. Finish with a topper.
