Garlic Herb Tofu

Serves 8

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  • 1 (16-ounce) package firm tofu, drained, pressed, patted dry

  • 1 garlic clove, chopped

  • 3 green onions, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

  • 2 tablespoons tahini

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • 1 tablespoon mirin

  • 2 tablespoons tamari


Directions:

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Slice tofu into thick slices and cook 3 to 4 minutes each side or until lightly browned.

  3. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a small food processor and puree.

  4. Serve tofu slices drizzled with garlic sauce.
