Kale

Dark leafy greens are a superfood mood booster, rich in vitamins, minerals, and health-promoting phytonutrients. High in folic acid, eating an extra serving or two of kale or any dark leafy can lift you out of the doldrums.

Whole grain bread

If you crave carbs when your mood starts edging towards an all new low, satisfy your crave with whole grains, such as a slice of whole wheat bread, toasted, and slathered with nut butter.
