Vegetarian Fig and Camembert Sliders on Seeded Bread

Yields 16

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • 16 mini seeded rolls, split

  • 6 to 8 fresh figs, sliced

  • 8 ounces Camembert cheese


Directions:

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, stir together oil and rosemary. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer then remove from heat and set aside for 10 minutes.

  2. Brush the inside of each roll with rosemary-infused oil.

  3. Make sliders by placing a slide of fig and cheese inside each roll.

  4. Serve immediately.
