Dark Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Ingredients:

  • 1 (12-ounce) bag dark chocolate chips

  • 1 (10-ounce) bag large pretzel rods

  • 3 ounces vegan white chocolate, chopped

Directions:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Place chocolate in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Stir until melted and smooth.

  3. Pour chocolate into a long, shallow dish and quickly dip pretzel rods in the chocolate, turning with tongs to coat evenly.

  4. Lift pretzel rods out of chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  5. Let cool until chocolate is firm. You can speed this up by placing the baking sheet in the refrigerator or freezer.

  6. Meanwhile, melt white chocolate in the double boiler or in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until smooth.

  7. Spoon white chocolate into a piping bag fitted with a small round tip. Pipe white chocolate back and forth crosswise on the pretzel rods.

  8. Refrigerate or freeze until white chocolate firms up. Eat immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature.
