Raspberry Recharge Smoothie

Featured in Smoothies for Weight Loss section in The Complete Idiot's Guide to Green Smoothies, this green smoothie is a refreshing low-calorie eye-opener.

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups fresh or frozen raspberries

  • 1 cup fresh apple juice

  • 1-1/2 cups chopped cucumber

  • 2 cups chopped fresh cilantro


Directions:

  1. In a high-speed blender, combine raspberries, apple juice, cucumber, and cilantro.

  2. Blend until smooth.


Cook's note: Rinaldi suggests swapping in spinach for the cilantro if the herb is too strong for you.
