It has an easy-to-read cooking panel, digital selection readout, stainless steel body with cool-touch locking lid, and a non-stick 10-cup rice bowl that can make up to 20 cups of cooked rice! Spicy Rice Cooker Chili

Serves 8

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups chopped onion

  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped fine

  • 1 cup chopped green pepper

  • 3 tablespoons chili powder

  • 2 (15-ounce) cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed

  • 2 (15-ounce) cans white beans, drained and rinsed

  • 2 (28-ounce) cans diced fire roasted tomatoes

  • 1 medium potato, peeled and shredded

  • 1 (15-ounce) can vegetable broth

  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  • 1 tablespoons dried hot red pepper flakes

  • 3 tablespoons salt

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • Pinch ground cloves


Directions:

  1. Stir all ingredients together in the rice cooker (or a slow cooker).

  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.

  3. Adjust seasonings to taste and serve chili with your choice of toppings.
