Best Moments From the 2017 CMAs in GIFs

It was an important night in country music on Wednesday, Nov. 8. After a big year in country music with plenty of highs and a few unfortunate lows, the 2017 Country Music Awards brought together the biggest names in the industry so we could all sing, laugh and possibly shed a tear together.

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood were once again on cohosting duty, and they made it a memorable night, with plenty of jokes made at the expense of both their country music peers and, occasionally, President Donald Trump. Country music heavy-hitters like Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and Darius Rucker joined wild card performers Pink and Niall Horan onstage, all thrilling us with their performances. And of course, some of the best moments were the quieter ones, like Underwood's and Eric Church's performances in memory of the victims of the Las Vegas shooting.

It was an exciting night indeed, and thankfully, we have some GIFs to remember the evening by. Keep clicking to see what you missed.

Cohosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley didn't waste any time making a sharp Trump reference.

Urban's latest song, "Female," was reportedly written in response to the Harvey Weinstein scandal.

Hill couldn't help but give her hubby a sweet look of love as they performed together.

Brooks expressed his love for country music during his acceptance speech.

McGraw and Hill were gifted with Barbie versions of themselves, which they then used to make fun of the CMAs hosts.

Kelsea Ballerini and Reba McEntire joined forces for a powerhouse duet.

Underwood sang "Softly and Tenderly" in tribute to the victims of the Las Vegas shooting.

Country music legend Eddie Montgomery surprised us all when he appeared to perform with Rascal Flatts.
