There are so many good shows on TV these days, it's insane. In fact, I find myself missing the summers when there was nothing to watch — remember those days?
Nowadays, it feels like there is more than enough television to keep us occupied. Between the tons of original programming on networks like ABC and HBO as well as up-and-coming streaming platforms like Netflix and Hulu, there's plenty of choices to be made when it comes to finding a show that's right for you.
While original shows are definitely present and accounted for, there's no doubt revivals are incredibly hot right now. At the top of the eagerly awaited revivals pack is Roseanne, which is set to come back on the air 20 years after the series finale aired in 1997. According to TV Line, the revival will consist of nine episodes and will reunited a majority of the core Roseanne case. Plus, there's early buzz from the set about just how good the revival is (cue our excitement!). The Roseanne revival dovetails nicely with another hot revival on TV right now, Will & Grace, which leads us to wonder: does the peak TV era mean there's room for original programming as well as revivals of the shows we loved to watch growing up? We certainly hope so.
Considering all the choices you have when it comes to choosing, why not check out all the shows that have been renewed on cable, network and streaming platforms right now so you can make the best decision possible. That is, until the Roseanne revival lands on our TV screens.
