Aaron Paul has never been shy about his love for his fiancée, and he showed it again on Sunday by marrying her in Malibu.
"Wedding time. Did my own make up!" Parsekian posted online Sunday, along with photos of her getting ready for the big day (the couple used the hashtag #mrmrspaul for their wedding tweets).
Paul and Parsekian met at Coachella and have been dating ever since. He asked her to marry him in Paris over New Year’s 2011-2012.
"I'm the luckiest man on the planet," Paul told People last year. "It doesn't make sense to me. The way she looks at me... she has that magical glow about her."
The wedding seemed like a simple affair, at least as far as Hollywood weddings go. But the couple is obviously completely in love.
“Wearing a custom bow tie and classic black tuxedo by Burberry, Paul showed his romantic side with his new wife, who donned a strapless and corseted white ball gown by Amsale, her tousled blonde hair worn loose in romantic waves for their big day,” said People.
Paul tweeted a photo of the couple on Saturday, along with the line, “And so it begins.” Then on Monday, tweeted, “A day will never go by without me reminding you how special you are. Thanks for last night my pretty…” along with an Instagram photo of himself and his new bride.
Paul regularly keeps up with his Twitter, but it’s obvious he had more important things to do on Sunday.
Parsekian is an activist who started a group called the Kind Campaign, “a project that works to end girl-against-girl bullying,” USA Today explains. “She and Molly Thompson founded the organization in 2009 while they were students at Pepperdine University.”
The second half of the last season of Breaking Bad kicks off in August, but Paul is staying busy. He has at least two films in the works, and he likely won’t disappear after the show that made him famous is done. But for now, he's just enjoying being a new husband.
