Lindsay Lohan Missing
Lindsay Lohan bolted from rehab just minutes after checking in today, and prosecutors are fuming!
Lindsay Lohan was supposed to start her court-ordered 90-day stint in rehab today, but the starlet went MIA just minutes after checking into the facility.
The tangled web begins with Seafield, a recovery center in New York that was court-approved for Lindsay's stay. The starlet nixed that facility, allegedly because it doesn't allow smoking and she just can't give up her cancer sticks. She decided to head to Morningside Recovery in California instead, taking a huge risk because A) it was not court-approved and B) it is not an actual rehab; according to TMZ, the center's license was revoked and it now operates only as a sober living facility.
Not that it matters, because according to the New York Daily News Lindsay bolted within minutes of arriving.
"She went shopping at an electronics store then she was on the (rehab center) property for a couple minutes but got spooked by the paparazzi," a source told the paper. "She was saying, 'I'm not going to rehab. I'm not going to rehab. Take me back to the airport.'"
"She's headed back to LAX airport. The hope is that someone talks some sense into her before she gets on another plane."
Prosecutors are not amused. Not only were they blindsided by Lindsay's change of facility, but Santa Monica City Attorney Terry White says he will not stand for her not holding up her end of the deal.

"If there's credible confirmation she's heading back to New York, then I'm going to have to go in and ask the court to issue a warrant," White said.
"We want 90 days in a program we approve of. There's a lot of shenanigans by the defense."
"We did not approve this facility, we didn't look into this facility, we don't know anything about this facility. Then [Lindsay's lawyer] shows up five minutes before the hearing and says, 'Here's a letter,' and I'm supposed to approve this?" White asked. "This is unacceptable."
Not that it matters, because she isn't there anyway — and that could spell deep, deep trouble for the star. Like "do not pass go, go directly to jail" kind of trouble.
