Pressly Accuses Warren Of Purse-Snatching
Actresses Jaime Pressly and Estelle Warren caused a fracas over the weekend at a Hollywood club after Pressly accused the model of taking off with her assistant's purse.
Police were called to the scene after a birthday party went sour at a Hollywood club, according to Us Weekly, which reports that things got ugly between actresses Jaime Pressly (My Name Is Earl) and Estella Warren (Planet of the Apes) after Pressly accused Warren of stealing her assistant's purse.
According to Us Weekly, Pressly, 35, and Warren, 34, were at a party at Hollywood hot spot Bootsy Bellows on Friday night when Pressly's assistant's purse went missing.
Using the iPhone's "find my phone" app, the star and her assistant located the phone, inside the missing purse where Warren and her friends were gathered.
Give it back, said Pressly and her assistant. Nope, it's mine, countered Warren.
"Jaime was trying to get it back," a source told Us Weekly. "She wasn't aggressive, but she was forceful."
Pressly's assistant's stuff was inside the purse; Warren still claimed it was hers.
Drugs were allegedly also found inside the purse; Pressly and her assistant disavowed knowledge of those.
Eventually, police were called; they made a theft report at 2 a.m.
Neither actress has publicly commented, however, Warren tweeted a telling message Saturday: "No mind, no thought, no reflection, no analysis, no cultivation, no intention... let it settle itself."
Both actresses have had previous run-ins with the law. Warren was arrested in 2011 after she hit three parked cars in Los Angeles and then fled the scene. Police found her and arrested her for DUI, and for felony battery on an officer when she resisted arrest.
Also in 2011, Pressly was arrested on suspicion of DUI in California, the Huffington Post reported. She later pleaded no contest.
Police in Hollywood told Us Weekly the matter is still under investigation.
