Leaving Storybrooke In Season 3?

With casting starting for what could be the famed Lost Boys and Peter Pan, rumors are flying that we may see a lot more of Neverland than Storybrooke next season.

Once Upon a Time spoilers - moving to Neverland forever

Once Upon a Time is currently off on another hiatus until April 21. Though the series may not be running any new episodes for a few weeks, we've still got a lot of juicy spoilers to hold you over until then.

Beware: Spoilers for Once Upon a Time below — you have been warned!

Rumors are rampant right now about the show possibly leaving Storybrooke next season and heading to Neverland forever. Where is this coming from? Well, first of all, we just learned that Neal's fiancée is a woman who has been searching for magic for a very long time. We still don't know why yet, but we do know that she's working with Owen (aka Greg) and there's no doubt that their intentions are anything but good. Could they be planning to steal magic from Storybrooke? If they do, could that mean that the people of Storybrooke may end up on the run and looking for a new place to live? Neverland sounds like as good a place as any.

There's also the fact that the titles of the final two episodes of the season come straight out of Peter Pan. With episodes called "Second Star to the Right" and "And Straight on Till Morning," how can we not predict that at least some of the characters are going to end up in Neverland for a long time?

Next up, we have news from Eonline that roles are being cast for three 16-year-old boys who are going to be part of what's described as a "sinister group." The tough leader of the group is Felix and his companions will be two boys who are identical twins. Reportedly, the roles could be recurring. So is it possible that these could be the famed Lost Boys? Could it also be that Felix will turn out to be Peter Pan? We don't have any details to back that up, so we're just going to call those guesses for now.

Finally, there's something that Robert Carlyle said in an interview with TVLine. He was talking about the relationship between Mr. Gold and Neal, saying that "it's going to take a while to get any kind of resolution on that. But in Episode 21 or 22, something happens which changes [their relationship] forever."

From that we can assume that something really huge is going to happen, and what could be more huge than everyone making a run for Neverland? Sure, the cast and creators have already admitted that everyone is going to visit Neverland at the end of this season. But Carlyle said what's going to happen will affect Gold and Neal "forever." Plus, we already know that Neal spent a lot of time in Neverland with Hook. If Neal's father (and their friends) were in danger, who's to say that he wouldn't find a way to bring everyone back there to keep them safe?

Work begins on Once Upon a Time spin-off >>

Right now this is just wild conjecture, but you have to admit that it's all possible on a show like Once Upon a Time. So what do you think of all the casting news and other tidbits about the end of this season? Do you think everyone is headed to Neverland in Season 3 or do you have other ideas of what might happen?

I love this show I am addicted but I must say .... I am WAY to confused they are adding and spinning so many story lines at one time that it has my head going in circles.. I wish they would slow it down a notch with adding too much to quick and skipping around..

You know I have to say that I fell in love with this show in Season one and became a major follower. It began as an incredible show with powerful female characters who incited conflict and drama and brought something new to prime time. Season two has slowly drifted towards just another boys party with the strong women that I thought made the show so incredible being pushed more towards the back burner. Regina and Emma barely get 10 minutes of air time. Season three is looking like an even greater slip towards just another showcase for the male heroes. I may be moving on which makes me sad because I really thought this show was different.

Hello everyone. I will be excited if hey decide to travel to Neverland. As we have seen on this season, Hook has been a major player on the storyline. Now, with that said, want to bring up a rumor that has been floating in the cyber world since the beginning of Season2. and that is the introduction of Aladdin, Ariel and my favorite so far... Jafar. I call it as of right now, the infamous character "The Dragon" is in fact Jafar. I know we realize that the character was depicted as Chinese but ad many of you know Jafar is known to deceive people on appearances. If there could be a nice love interest between The Evil Queen how awesome if it was with no other than Jafar. Knowing that this show is written by the creators of Lost Im sure next season with deliver more than just one storyline to follow. I am sure of it.

The finale sounds very exciting. There has been so many hints at Neverland throughout the season with Hook being such a key character. And, so much has been building over the last few months between certain characters and with Neal coming to Storybrooke. If everyone moved to Neverland, I think that would be very interesting for season 3. However, hopefully, season 2 will have the "happy fairy tale ending" that season 1 had.
