Baking 101 from Moto Restaurant

Moto Restaurant is a high-end fine dining restaurant in Chicago with a dessert course like no other. Baking 101 is a dessert delivered to your table as ingredients, not a finished dish. You mix it up yourself to come up with a dish that tastes just like brownie batter. Diners enjoy this dessert served with a jug of ice cold farm milk, served on the same platter. There aren’t just celebrities at the table in this place – they staff the kitchen, too! The restaurant is run by Celebrity Chef Homaro Cantu and former Top Chef contest winner Richie Farina.

Chocolate jasmine cake from Roka Akor

Chicago’s Roka Akor is one of the top sushi spots in the United States, but they don’t just serve sushi. Their dessert menu is top-notch, a fact their celebrity clientele can attest to. Celebs spotted at Roka Akor include Jesse Metcalfe, William H. Macy and Michael Phelps. Some of those guests have indulged in one of the location’s most popular dessert, the chocolate jasmine cake, a jasmine and white chocolate ganache, liquid centered chocolate cake.

Back when they were still a Hollywood power couple, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes dined here regularly while in town shooting the movie Knight and Day.

S’mores with espresso marshmallows from Back Deck

Chris Rock and Maya Rudolph are two of the many celebs that have happily dined at Boston’s Back Deck.
