Justin Bieber might say he doesn't know what's going on with his relationship with Selena Gomez, but his performance says something way different. The 18-year-old pop phenom channeled another Justin — Justin Timberlake — during a Saturday night concert in Boston.
Bieber broke out the acoustic guitar to perform Timberlake's 2003 hit "Cry Me a River" — a song widely believed to be about the newly married superstar's ex, Britney Spears. The performance seemed from the heart — and a tweet he posted afterward tells us that yes, the superstar couple is over.
"thank u Boston. focused on the positive. #30MillionBeliebers with me. Im never leaving u because u r always there 4 me. love u. Night," he wrote.
Insiders are hinting at Bieber's friendship with Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin as the source of the relationship strife.
"Selena can be so dramatic about Justin's exes, who aren't even in her league! They both engage in really petty arguments and it's killing their relationship."
Does this mean Jelena is never, ever, ever getting back together? Not so fast. A friend of the Biebs says they are constantly breaking up and getting back together.
"They 'almost' break up regularly," an insider told RadarOnline. "But it's a case of first love for Justin so he can't even imagine being without her."
Well, good. Let's hope they do get back together so we can actually get a decent night of sleep again. It's been rough since we heard the news, though Ben & Jerry's is helping us get through it.
