"They’re so excited — they’re both ecstatic. They can’t wait to become parents," a friend told the magazine of their baking bun. "Kristen had a little bit of morning sickness early on but she just started shooting the second season of House of Lies and is feeling great now."
The pair told Larry King that they planned to have children before getting married.
"We'll have them out of wedlock," Shepard told the aging talk show host. "We're not worried about that."
"It doesn't really bother us," Bell added. They don't care about getting married, period.
"We'll apply the appropriate paperwork for wills and security and such, but when he gave (the ring) to me... that meant more to me than proclaiming it in front of a group of people," she added. "That doesn't feel very significant to me. The moment that we shared when he proposed felt like the agreement."
The pair — dating since 2007 — seems to have the type of partnership that will transfer well to parenting.
"Your partner should hear your most embarrassing insecurities, because once you say them out loud, you’ve created a safe zone," she told Us Weekly after getting engaged in 2010.
"I’ve learned the necessity for healthy communication. How important it is to talk about your deepest, darkest fears and feelings," she added.
These two will be the coolest parents ever. No word on when the 32-year-old actress is due, though might we suggest renting a sloth for the baby shower? We hear she loves those sorts of parties.
