The Singer Releases Her New Single On Twitter
Grammy winner Faith Hill rewards her fans for the years of loyalty and support by bringing her first single from her new album directly to them via social media.
Before the debut happens, fans will have the opportunity to chat with Hill live on Twitter on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 4 p.m. PST/7 p.m. EST just before NBC's Sunday Night Football broadcast. The hashtag to participate is #AskFaith. Immediately following the chat, the song will be released to country music stations all across the country simultaneously. Since this is being dubbed a "fan first" social media event, the country artist is excited about the history-making moment. She says, "We wanted to do something special for our fans who have been so supportive of me through the years -- something a little different and something just for them. No better way than the socials." The song "American Heart" was recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville. It was co-written by Jonathan Singleton and Jim Beavers to showcase Hill's rich and extraordinary vocal quality. Hill feels that "this song inspires. It grabs ahold of a very special place that we all have in our hearts. Times are hard and people are struggling, but our spirit as Americans always seems to prevail.” Faith Hill is married to fellow country singer Tim McGraw. They will join forces in December 2012 for their Soul2Soul tour at the Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas. For more information, visit Hill's official website. Image courtesy of Judy Eddy/WENN.com
