Oh, Lena: What are you wearing?

Not everyone got it right on the 2012 Primetime Emmys red carpet. Lena Dunham led the pack of WTF looks.

Kat Dennings and Lena Dunham worst dressed

We were happy with all the hits on the 2012 Primetime Emmys red carpet, but there were still some misses that made us question whether or not some celebs got dressed in the dark. Case in point? Girls actress Lena Dunham's ill-fitting Prada dress. Dunham is not a big girl, but the cut of the dress does her no favors around the hips. Plus, it's way too long for its shape -- it makes her look matronly. The dress would look better -- even a bit retro -- if it hit about knee-length.

While we know plenty of guys want to see Two Broke Girls star Kat Dennings shirtless, her scarlet dress by J. Mendel looked downright trashy. We think the dress would have better suited her if the top was a size or two bigger. Don't worry, Kat: No one would forget about your big breasts even if you covered them up.

Worst dressed at the Emmys Julianna Marguiles and Mayim Bialik

We love, love, love The Good Wife star Julianna Margulies, but the Giambattista Valli gown she wore to the 2012 Emmys looks like a cross between a peacock and our grandmother's curtains. We forgive you, Julianna!

The Big Bang Theory star Mayim Bialik also tops our list of awesome actresses, but she got lost in the yards and yards of fabric it took to make her Pamela Rolland dress. However, she was more worried about her injured hand than her look.

"There's not really an elegant way to practice posing or actually pose when your right hand has been injured in an accident," she wrote. "Ali [her stylist] and I are still undecided as to whether I will look ridiculous holding a clutch in my left/good hand or if it's better to have both hands free, as it were. To be decided."
