Jennifer Lopez might be "Jenny From the Block," but now you can be a part of her rich, rich world: Her former Miami Beach mansion is on sale for $40 million, according to Trulia.
The seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom beachfront house boasts "wide bay views of iconic Miami skyline," along with a "foyer with a 2-story rotunda illuminating cupola, vaulted ceiling, formal dining, theater, wine cellar." The master suite has massive walk-in closets (yes, closets) with security doors, a private terrace and bay windows. You can see several photos of the property on its official listing. Gorgeous.
Think $40 million is a little steep? We do, too — especially since Lopez sold it in 2005 for $13.9 million. That's almost a $26 million dollar profit if the current owners get the asking price. Not bad, but it'll probably be on the market for a while.
Lopez unloaded the property in 2005, but it's not like she didn't have other places to go: She has several other properties, including one in California featured in Veranda magazine. The home looks a lot less palatial than the Miami pad, but stylish nonetheless.
"There are all these tones of gray, and we played with that — using a bit more of a gray-taupe here, a bit more of a gray-blue there," interior designer Michelle Workman told the magazine. "It's almost like a black-and-white film from the forties."
"Jennifer wanted to go modern and streamlined, but retain the sophistication and stylishness," Workman added.
The biggest draw of her California home? A random pink gown displayed in one of the bedrooms.
"Jennifer and I wanted elegance, but we didn't want it to look stuffy or conservative or serious," Workman said. "We wanted it to be graceful with just enough sparkle."
But, is there room for Casper's skating gear and video games? That's the big question.
