From The Hills to the nursery: Former reality star Kristin Cavallari is now a mom! The blonde MTV star tweeted about the birth on Wednesday morning.
"We are thrilled to welcome Camden Jack Cutler into the world," the 25-year-old tweeted. "He was born this morning weighing 7 lbs., 9 oz. Everyone is doing great!"
Cavallari sounds oddly energetic for someone who just pushed out a kid. Motherhood can do that to you, though!
Cavallari and her fiance, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, found out they were expecting soon after getting back together earlier this year. The baby wasn't exactly planned, though.
"We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited," she told Glamaholic in a cover story. "Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
The pregnancy was pretty easy for her, too.
"The first couple of months I was tired, but I didn’t have any morning sickness. Which, I’ll take being tired any day over throwing up," she added to the magazine. "It’s so crazy to look at your life and see how far you’ve come. I always wanted kids, but I always thought I would have kids later on in life, maybe when I turn 30."
And while the couple never revealed the sex of their baby, one of Cutler's teammates let it slip during an interview. "New toys, a baby on the way — he's having a boy — and, you know, I'm excited for Jay," Bears wide receiver Earl Bennett said on the sports radio talk show The Boers and Bernstein Show in May. "It's a great time."
He quickly realized his mistake.
"Jay's having a boy," the hosts replied. "I don't think anybody knew that before then."
Oops! Oh well, Baby Camden is here now — and he's healthy and happy. Congratulations to the growing Cutler family!
