The Jackson family drama is getting weirder and weirder by the minute.
A California court named Tito Jackson's son, TJ Jackson, the temporary guardian of Paris Jackson and siblings Prince and Blanket on Wednesday. The kids' permanent guardian, Katherine Jackson, has been MIA for several days — and some suspect that Janet Jackson and siblings Rebbie, Randy and Jermaine Jackson sent Katherine to Arizona against her will.
"I've never heard my grandmother talk like that." TJ told judge Mitch Beckloff, according to TMZ, adding that he thought she seemed drugged. "She wasn't sharp. The pauses, choice of vocabulary ... she has not used certain phrases like that before."
The 34-year-old added that it seemed like Katherine was speaking in code.
"I'm waiting on Katherine to get back in town and I'm looking forward to getting a hold of her to ascertain what's been going on," Katherine's lawyer, Perry Sanders, told TMZ.
It's believed all of this drama stems from Michael Jackson's will — the siblings are trying to replace the executors, according to reports. It's alleged that Michael's will left everything to his three children and Katherine. Obviously, the siblings didn't like that. They wrote a letter on July 17 demanding that will executors John Branca and John McClaine be removed and that the late pop icon's will was "fake." Tito signed it too, but he retracted his statement on Tuesday.
"I completely retract my signature from the July 17th letter sent to the Executors of my brother Michael's estate and repudiate all the claims made against them. I don't want any part of that letter whatsoever," Tito wrote.
At least two of the Jackson family members have the children's best interests in mind.
"There are only three words I want to say: Always kids first," TJ said outside the court.
It's the Jackson family, so we fully expect this situation to get weirder — and more sinister — as time goes on.
