Seeking A Friend For A Little Sex…?

What would you do if you knew the world was going to end in less than three weeks? Have sex with all your friends and co-workers. That’s what T.J. Miller and Gillian Jacobs do in Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.

In the new quirky comedy starring Steve Carell and Keira Knightley, Seeking a Friend at the End of the World, is about just that.

Two people whose personal lives are on the fritz are also dealing with the impending doom of a meteor that is due to hit the earth in three weeks time.

Nothing can be done to stop it. Nothing. No astronauts, no underground bunkers, no spaceship to Mars.

So, what must the characters in this movie do? They have an orgy.

The fun part is how it all happens. Actor T.J. Miller plays host at a family style restaurant reminiscent of a typical neighborhood “Applebee’s.”

Gillian Jacobs

When Carell and Knightley’s characters are in need for a beer, they stop in to find no one inside is acting as normal as you’d expect from a wait staff. Everyone is just a little too hot and heavy for the impending doom that surrounds them.

“I am a sex symbol,” Miller says confidently. It was easy to get into the part.

Accompanied by Gillian Jacobs of Community, these two try to persuade Carell and Knightley to have an orgy. "We had a memory-erasing session when it was all over," she tells SheKnows in an interview. Things got very weird.

So, how did Jacobs get in the mood to play this sexy scene?

“I gazed at T.J. and I was ready to go.”

You will be too when you see the movie. Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, which was written and directed by Lorene Scafaria, releases in theaters Friday, June 22.

This movie looks really funny. So many funny people are in it, I love Gillian Jacobs and Steve Carell. Plus, it always shows when the actors have a real life friendship, and it sounds like these guys do. It always makes the movie's comedy feel more believable.
