The 2012 Tony Awards have come and gone. The event brought out Hollywood stars such as Philip Seymour Hoffman, Andrew Garfield, John Lithgow, Hugh Jackman and James Earl Jones. Find out who walked away a winner at last night's ceremony.
Sunday night, Broadway's finest were in the same place, at the same time for the 66th Annual Tony Awards. Neil Patrick Harris hosted the ceremony, which aired live on CBS. The evening was filled with surprises and big wins for Mike Nichols, Audra McDonald, and the indie musical, Once.
McDonald and Steve Kazee took home the awards for best leading actress and actor in a musical for their performances in The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess and Once. While James Corden (One Man, Two Guvnors) and Nina Ariana (Venus in Fur) won for best performance by an actor and actress in a leading role in a play.
Nichols earned his record sixth Tony for directing the revival of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman. Smash star Christian Borle and TV veteran Judith Light won awards for actor and actress in a featured role in a play.
