Her Landlord Says She Is Legally A Squatter
Real Housewife of Atlanta, Kim Zolciak, is in a dispute with her landlord over her lease. The landlord argues Zolciak and her husband agreed to move out at the end of May.
It’s becoming more and more obvious that all the drama you see on Real Housewives is not just something they do for the camera.
Kim Zolciak, part of the Real Housewives series in Atlanta, is currently embroiled in a legal battle with her landlord. Zolciak told TMZ there is no issue, and she is current on her rent. However, they obtained her lease and found out she was being less than truthful.
Kendra Davis, Zolciak’s landlord has an email from Zolciak’s husband Kroy Biermann in March stating they would be moving out May 30. The couple is now six days past that date and is still living in the home.
According to TMZ, “Davis has said she's trying to evict Kim because she has no right to live in the house and won't pay rent.”
The lease also says that if the tenants stay in the house past the date they agreed to move out, they are considered squatters and owe $600 a day.
The issue gets even more confusing as the email sent from Biermann to Davis says, “We understand we are in the process of attempting to purchase the home however the Lease agreement is a separate agreement in its entirety and in order to honor that agreement it states we must send you a letter of this form to ensure we fulfill our obligation of the lease.”
Sources told TMZ that the couple decided the house was not worth the asking price and decided not to purchase the home, but have not moved out.
The landlord told TMZ she sent a letter to Zolciak and Biermann today letting them know they are in the home illegally and needed to vacate immediately.
Zolciak currently has a spin-off show on Bravo called Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding. According to Perez Hilton, the May 31 episode of the show garnered its highest ratings because Zolciak appeared on television wig-less for the first time.
