What did you learn over the weekend? Five Disney Channel stars headed to the Walt Disney Resort for the Disney Kids and Nature Celebration to join over 100 youth leaders from around the world -- and they were taking notes on how to make a positive difference in the world.
"These kids are not only imagining the world that they wanna live in, but taking steps and making things up as they go," commented Jessie's Debby Ryan. "I absolutely believe that little actions can make a huge difference."
The two-day celebration recognizes youth efforts to help protect the planet, and organizations that work to connect kids to nature -- complete with the world premiere of Disneynature's newest film, Chimpanzee.
"There's kids from all over the world who have already started using their voice," added Zendaya of Shake It Up. "Everyone has a voice and everybody has the right to use it. We all should use it for something positive and something good."
Hollywood Records' McClain Sisters performed the song "Rise" -- this year's Disney Friends for Change Anthem. The weekend event had a huge effect on the teen actors.
"It just makes you want to be a better person," noted Ross Lynch of Austin & Ally. His co-star Laura Marano added, "The worst thing someone could do is feel like they're too small to help -- nothing is ever too small."
How can kids get started in making a difference? Try Marano's tip: "I always turn off the water when I'm brushing my teeth!" said the Austin & Ally star.
"Connect with nature -- no matter what it is!" said Bella Thorne of Shake It Up. "Everything that you do helps."
