Frances Bean Cobain calls mom's pervy tirade "gross"

Courtney Love is off her rocker, that's no secret -- her Twitter diatribes and public outbursts are legendary. This time, however, she may have gone too far.

Love accused former Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl of seducing her daughter Frances Bean Cobain -- a particularly pervy accusation considering Grohl was a grown man playing in Nirvana with Frances' father Kurt Cobain when she was just a baby.

There has been no love lost between Love and Grohl since Cobain's death, but this accusation goes too far, say both Frances Bean and Grohl. In fact, Frances even made an extremely rare public statement to denounce her mother's wacko words.

"While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn," Frances said in a press statement. "I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy."

Dave Grohl is also on the "Courtney Love is crazy" train. The Grammy-winning musician, who is married with two children, completely denied any kind of sexual relationship with Frances.

"Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant," Grohl said in a statement. "These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue."

Frances Bean Cobain is rumored to be engaged to her musician boyfriend Isaiah Silver.
