Announcing The Best Book Ever!

Before announcing the winner, let's do a recap of this competition! Sixteen novels were nominated in four categories, including modern classics like A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving and The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón.

The competition was then narrowed down to these final four novels.

And now... votes have been cast and calculated! The March Madness Best Book champion is...

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee!

A classic novel about racism and the loss of innocence in a small Southern town. One of the most frequently challenged books in the last half-century.

This well-loved classic received 56 percent of the final vote! Who says classics are dead?
