Sonja Morgan, LuAnn de Lesseps and Ramona Singer? See for yourself -- Bravo has announced the three new women who will join the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City for the show's fifth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
New friends or enemies forMeet Carole Radziwill, an Emmy Award-winning author and journalist who has worked at ABC News with Peter Jennings' documentary unit, PrimeTime Live and 20/20. Though she's not necessarily a housewife -- she's a single New Yorker as of now -- she did pen the New York Times bestselling memoir What Remains and is now working on a novel while also contributing to Glamour Magazine.
Heather Thomson is a celebrity stylist who has worked with A-listers like Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé. The mother of two also created the shapewear line, Yummy.
Aviva Drescher, a mother of four and wife to an investment banker, is noteworthy for a few reasons: She's not only the cousin of The Nanny and Happily Divorced actress Fran Drescher, but she's also the series' first-ever housewife to be born and raised in NYC. Even more so, she tragically lost her left leg in a farm accident as a child, and is now using her past as a platform: She's the national spokesperson for One Step Ahead, an organization for amputees, an advisory board member of Cancer Schmancer/Trash Cancer and works with the Live4Life Foundation.
