Alec Baldwin finds zen for life: Engaged!

Alec Baldwin has finally found his inner Zen with yoga teacher Hilaria Thomas. The notoriously temperamental actor has announced that he and his bendy gal are engaged!

"Yes, it's true! Alec proposed to Hilaria this weekend and we're all excited for the newly engaged couple. Alec's birthday is tomorrow. Great way to celebrate!" Baldwin's rep confirmed to Us Weekly. The actor also confirmed the engagement to the Huffington Post, where he is a featured columnist.

Baldwin, 54, and Thomas, 28, first stepped out in public together as a couple in May 2011. This will be her first marriage. Baldwin was previously wed to actress Kim Basinger, and while he has one daughter with her -- Ireland -- he is definitely up for having more.

"Have I thought about having more kids? Oh sure, that would be great, that would be heaven, that would be fantastic," the 30 Rock actor told Piers Morgan in January.

"As my friend said to me, when you have children, typically in a second marriage, when you're older and you get married again to a woman who would have children, you must always remember that you make sure the children attend a college where the commencement ceremonies are held in a facility with a wheelchair accessible ramp."
