Martha Stewart was dressed in a classically sophisticated pantsuit when we caught up with her at The Ever Changing Face of Beauty video installation party at New York Fashion Week, hosted by W magazine editor Stefano Tonchi and P&G Prestige .
"I like Hermes, anything I try on fits me," Stewart told SheKnows of her personal style. "You have to find the people that make it for your size and your fit."
But the crafty grandmother threw us for a loop when we quizzed her on her favorite celebrity style icon.
"Angelina Jolie," said Stewart. "She can wear anything. She's so slight, but she still fits clothes and looks good in them."
Well we certainly didn't see that coming! Martha is full of interesting tidbits lately. She also shared with us her pride in her Chow Chow, Genghis Khan, who recently took home gold at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.
"He only won Best in Breed but it's still the best in America," Stewart told us. "Chows are untrainable, so I didn't have to train him. He knew what to do."
What does this lady not do?!
She is also in the process of planning a very important birthday party.
"I'm throwing my first grandchild her first birthday party," said Stewart. "I love being a grandma. She came to my studio today and had a great time. She's cute."
Other fashionistas at the bash included Cate Blanchett, Evan Rachel Wood, and soon-to-be mom Sienna Miller.
