Adele Hates Her Dad

Adele is pulling no punches when it comes to her father -- or maybe it's more like she wants to punch him. The "Someone Like You" singer said she will spit in her father's face if she ever sees him again. What the heck did he do?

Think you have daddy issues? Adele wants to spit in her father's face.

The Grammy Award-winning singer was abandoned by her father when she was just three years old. After a childhood of only sporadic contact, she said she hasn't had contact with him in 10 years -- so she's super pissed that he's running his mouth about her now.

Adele's next album: No more "bitter witch" >>

"I was ready to start trying to have a relationship with him," Adele confessed to Vogue. "He's f*****g blown it. He will never hear from me again. Because there is nothing that would upset me more than my dad being bribed by the press."

"It makes me angry! To come back after 10 years and be like, 'Maybe her problem with men comes down to me.' It's like, f**k off! How dare you comment on my life? It makes my blood boil. It makes my family feel awkward, it makes my friends feel awkward around me, it makes me act awkward, it makes me sad."

"It blows my mind," she said. "'I love her so much?' Really? Why are you telling me that through a newspaper? If I ever see him I will spit in his face."

Adele's 21 heartbreaker revealed! >>

No skin off her back though -- she said her mom is awesome and has more than made up for the lack of a father figure in her life.

"She's the calmest person, really strong and clever and beautiful," she said. "She is one of five and everyone's got kids and all the kids have started having kids. Mum's side is massive. All brilliant. Dominated by women and all really helping each other out, so even though she brought me up on her own, it was kind of a team effort."

Thank god for moms!

Isn't it a surprise all these fathers appear after not being around for years and when their daughters have achieved much success they now want to be part of their lives and then they say how much they love their daughters and how they are not interested in their daughters money! What a crock of B.S. these deadbeat fathers are.
