Beyoncé unveils Blue Ivy Carter: First pics!

Are you ready for some cuteness? Beyoncé and Jay-Z have finally released the first photos of their newborn daughter Blue Ivy Carter, and she is flippin' adorable!

The super-celebs did not go the usual baby picture route of selling the snaps to the highest tabloid bidder. Instead, they chose to publish the pics themselves on a Tumblr account set up specifically for the occasion.

The sweet little thing has thick, dark, straight hair and cafe latte skin like her mama's. In one pic the tyke is looking up at Beyoncé in total adoration; in another Dad Jay-Z snuggles her wearing a wide smile.

The photos are much cuter than the satirical baby picture of Blue Ivy that 50 Cent posted on his Twitter, mocking the couple's joy.

A message on the Tumblr page reads, "We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives. The Carter Family"

Beyoncé gave birth to Blue Ivy in January after a controversial few months in which she was accused of faking her pregnancy and causing a ruckus at a fancy New York City hospital. The fact that this baby looks Indian won't do much to stifle the surrogacy rumors, nor has the fact that Bey's body already looks bangin' just a month after giving birth.
