Steamy Spidey Sequence
Andrew Garfield tries his hand at the web this summer opposite Emma Stone in The Amazing Spider-Man.
After a week of heavy theater promotions and around the globe "Spidey" sightings, the newest trailer for the long-awaited The Amazing Spider-Man shows a brand new Peter Parker with his blonde love interest.
Buh-bye Tobey Maguire, we've got a new Spider-Man for this fourth installment of the popular comic-book-series-turned-feature-film. Andrew Garfield, of The Social Network and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus fame, dons the red and blue suit for an adventure to keep the city safe.
Fans are already said to be loving the switch to this newer, edgier Spider-Man. But that's not the only thing that's new.
Goodbye Mary Jane
Emma Stone co-stars as the blonde (her natural color!) Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker's new love interest. She's a fellow undergraduate at their university, but her father is the police captain, George Stacy (played by Denis Leary). This can only mean trouble for our secret crime fighter. If only she knew who he really was…!
But that's not the only thing on his mind. In this fourth installment of the popular Spider-Man sequence, our masked hero also tries to uncover the secret past of his father.
Some stories shouldn't be uncovered
The new trailer shows a series of flashbacks as Spidey starts to uncover who he really is, as well as several steamy love scenes to get you in the mood for Valentine's Day.
Co-starring Rhys Ifans as The Lizard, Martin Sheen as Ben Parker and Chris Zylka as Flash Thompson, this new cast of characters has fans excited to see what's in store for this summer. The Amazing Spider-Man releases in theaters in the height of blockbuster season on July 3.
