A new leading man for a top model.
Tyra Banks has reportedly fallen head over stilettos for a mystery man, just a month after calling time on a three-year romance.
Tyra separated from Wall Street banker John Utendahl in December and decided to seek solace by traveling to the Far East with a gal pal.
In a scene ripped straight off the pages of Eat, Pray, Love, the America's Next Top Model host is said to be smitten with a mysterious gentleman she met on a "spiritual break" in Bali.
Tyra, 38, first met John, 50, in 2007. The pair came out as a couple the following year. The retired catwalker uprooted production of her now-defunct daytime talk show and moved from Los Angeles to New York City after falling for the dashing businessman.
That's why news of John and Tyra's split came as such a shock to those closest to the couple. The breakup also followed the former supermodel's admission that she would eventually like to become a mother.
Friends aren't sure what to make of this latest development in the beauty's love life.
"It's a total long-distance romance. But it's a big deal," a source told People magazine Tuesday.
How big a deal? Well, after wrapping up her first trek to Bali, Tyra turned right around and flew back overseas to spend the Christmas holidays with her secret lover.
Yep, sounds like a love connection to us.
Meanwhile, John, who runs an investment bank in Manhattan, isn't dragging his feet about moving on either. He was reportedly spotted enjoying drinks with a Russian model shortly after his split from Tyra.
