Oltl Stars' New Gig!

This is epic for any Todd, Blair, Starr and John fans. The One Life to Live actors who portray the iconic soap personalities are checking into General Hospital -- as their characters.

Todd always said nothing could keep him from his one true love, Blair -- apparently, not even a canceled show.

We get choked up just looking at this picture of Todd (Roger Howarth), Starr (Kristen Alderson) and Blair (Kassie DePaiva) as a happy family knowing we'll never see them on One Life To Live again. Sad face, indeed.

Soap fans grab your Kleenex and dry your eyes, because the powerful family is heading to another soapy show and they're bringing John McBain (Michael Easton) with them.

One Life To Live stars Roger Howarth, Kassie DePaiva, Kristen Alderson and Michael Easton are taking a bow on Friday's finale and then hopping over to the town of Port Charles on General Hospital.

Here's the deets: The stars will bring their characters to GH -- not develop new ones!

This is huge news, folks, especially for those who grew up with the Manning family and have come to fall back in love with Blair and Todd since Howarth's return to the show.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, so what if we talk like they're real people.

In a report via TVLine, new General Hospital showrunner and old One Life To Live head honcho, Frank Valentini, said, "We have a very exciting story planned for the citizens of Port Charles, with Sonny Corinthos at the center of it!"

He added, "I am confident viewers and fans alike will be excited for the arrival of John (played by Easton), Starr (Kristen Alderson), Blair (Emmy nominee Kassie DePaiva) and Todd (Emmy winner Roger Howarth). Incorporating characters from One Life to Live continue the legacy of the show as we weave them into General Hospital."

Fans of One Life To Live are getting the chance to relive some of their favorite moments as the show comes to a close this Friday.

Like many of you, we will miss the sudsy goodness it brought to our lives.

Here's to the next chapter for Todd, Blair, Starr and John -- and the stars that play them!

Please, keep the OLTL characters away from GH. They are going to ruin GH.

I'm sorry but I'm not for this AT ALL. I was shocked to see Garin Wolf already replaced as head writer for General and to see Ron Carlivati????? What is this????? Turning into One Life to Live???????????????? I'm sorry, but if General characters are slowly being pushed out, I'm out for good. This has been my show for over 30 years and if it's being taken over by a show that couldn't hold its ground, then that's just ridiculous. Sorry about you, Garin. You were doing an excellent job as was Jill Pharin Phelps. I was suprised to see you out of the production as well. It's really sad. I'm also sick of the new credits in the beginning, no match-ups at "half-time", and FINALLY seeing Jason and Sam after, what, almost two weeks??????????????????????????? Sad. Very sad.

I will watch a few episodes to see if there was any resolution to some stories left hanging thanks to Prospect Park that Blair and Star or John will mention. The only upside to the cancellation of OLTL I could come up with to make it easier for me was that I would not have to look at Roger Howarths face anymore so I doubt, actually know, I will not be tuning in to GH for any length of time

Can't wait for the arrival of the OLTL characters to make their debut. I have been watching both soaps for a very long time, so this is wonderful news to soap fans. Hopefully the addition of these characters will give GH the ratings boost it needs to keep it on the air. Stay tuned everyone!

OLTL has been my favorite soap through the years. I'm excited about watching the "new" General Hospital with my favorites from OLTL.
