Sounds Like Bieber's Voice Deepened For 2012
We are only three days into 2012, but a new Justin Bieber single is on its way. Check out the sneak peek of Bieber’s new single, “Happy New Year.”
Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith have collaborated on a new single just in time for the new year. Appropriately titled, "Happy New Year," Bieber hopes to continue the success of his holiday album Under the Mistletoe.
The 17-year-old entertainer announced his new track on Jan. 1, 2012 at midnight via his Twitter account, "u know what…to say thank you for an amazing 2011, me, and @officialjaden are releasing a #NewYears song at Midnight. #COUNTDOWN."
With 16 million followers, his announcement reached plenty of fans. The track is mellow and opens with Will Smith's son, Jaden, rapping. Bieber then takes over with a noticeably deeper voice and the song winds its way into slow-jam territory.
He sings, "I'm gonna make your cheeks red when I kiss your neck; Girl I'm never leavin' 'cause you are the best baby." You can listen to the track over at Billboard, as it doesn't appear to be available for download just yet.
Justin Bieber was in New Yew City to ring in 2012 with Dick Clark on his Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest show. Afterwards, he held a private party with girlfriend Selena Gomez at a local hotspot called Glass House. Guests included family, friends, and label executives. Hollywood Life reports guests danced, played video games and munched on bar food provided by a local sports bar until the early morning hours.
