'Tis the season to get married!
There's another celebrity engagement making the rounds on the blogosphere: Country star Wynonna Judd has revealed that she accepted a Christmas Eve proposal from her beau of two years, musician Cactus Moser.
(Yes, we said Cactus.)
Judd and Moser are currently touring under the name Wynonna and the Big Noise.
This will be the third marriage for the flame-haired crooner.
In 1998, she split from Nashville businessman Arch Kelley III. That union produced two children, 17-year-old Elijah and Grace, 15.
In 2007, Wynonna's second marriage, to D.R. Roach, ended after four years.
The engagement is the latest chapter in a career comeback for Judd, 47. The OWN channel reality star lost 55 pounds after surviving a head-on collision in March 2010. She later reunited with mom Naomi for the first Judds tour in a decade.
Of course music lovers born after the Reagan Era might remember Wynonna best as the woman who made some pretty controversial remarks after Taylor Swift became the youngest artist to ever win the Country Music Association's Entertainer of the Year prize in 2009.
The music legend argued that the then 19-year-old songbird wasn't seasoned enough for the honor.
"You want my honest comment? It's too much too soon. Time is God's way of keeping everything from happening at once. It's just too much of a good thing too soon," Judd told USA Today.
"My thing is, being a homeschool mom, I want kids to earn it and I think some time… 'cause mom and I rode in a car for the first year of our career to visit radio stations. There was a making of the star, there was a rising up and the fans went with us," she explained.
"Now it's over coffee breaks, the success, almost… It's like the girl who wins an Oscar and she's under 20. What do you do from here?"
Wynonna later apologized.
