Congratulations are in order for singing star Dido -- albeit a bit late.
The "White Flags" songbird and her husband Rohan Gavin welcomed a son over the summer. Baby Stanley Gavin was born at Portland Hospital in London last July.
Yep, we said Stanley.
It appears the "Thank You" crooner opted to name her son after her 2001 Eminem duet, "Stan."
The hit song featured a protagonist who wrote obsessively to his hero, Eminem, only to snap and commit a murder-suicide when he received no response.
Dido -- who turned 40 on Christmas Day --announced her pregnancy earlier this year, but decided not to publicly announce the baby's arrival until this week.
"Hello everyone, It's been a month of amazing news for me and now I have some more to share. Me and my husband Rohan are expecting a baby and we're beyond happy and excited about it," she wrote on her website at the time.
Before Stanley's birth, Dido was anxious to find out the sex of her unborn baby.
"I'm too curious. It's enough of a surprise on the day," she said.
"There's a real calmness about being pregnant which I think is really nice. Your decisions are sort of made for you. You just have this priority that is unchangeable and I think that's a great calmness that comes from that."
The pregnancy meant Dido missed out on the opportunity to perform her song "If I Rise" at the Oscars last February.
"So as some of you already know, I won't be able to travel to L.A. for the Oscars ceremony to perform 'If I Rise.' Obviously I'm really gutted about not being there -- going to the Oscars has literally been a dream of mine since I was about nine."
