Kim Kardashian's really bad year just got a little worse.
The anti-Kardashian backlash that followed the star's 72-day-marriage has earned the reality TV star a formal title -- Most Ill-Mannered Person of 2011.
Kim was awarded the rudeness crown by the National League of Junior Cotillions (NLJC), who accused the brunette bombshell of "making a private matter public and disrespecting the institution of marriage."
The 31-year-old married basketball player Kris Humphries in a lavish $10 million ceremony last August, before filing for divorce less than three months later.
Humphries is seeking to annul the brief marriage on the grounds of fraud -- further fueling reports that the union was part of a lucrative publicity stunt manufactured by the Kardashian Machine.
Kim stands opposite British Duchess Kate Middleton, who got the gong for Best-Mannered Person of the Year. According to the NLCJ, Kate is deserving of the Best-Mannered title for the "poise and dignity with which she conducts herself in the public spotlight."
And because she doesn't do nude yoga on TV.
Other celebrities up for the Best-Mannered honor included Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift.
If The National Enquirer is to be believed, the stress over her plummeting public persona is taking a toll on Kardashian's health.
Her psoriasis has flared up, tipsters tell the mag.
The skin condition, characterized by the presence of itchy, flaky red rashes, was first diagnosed by her dermatologist, Dr. Harold Lancer, on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that aired in July.
"Turning from Beauty into the Beast is Kim's worst fear. The stress of Kris' charge that their marriage was a fraud isn't helping her condition and she fears the crusty red spots caused by her psoriasis will spread," an Enquirer source says.
"It's very painful, especially when Kim lies in bed at night. She's afraid that her spots will soon cover her body and she has cried over it a few times," the insider adds.
"The more upset Kim gets the more she lashes out. She's being especially hard on Kourtney because she's decided that Kourtney hasn't shown enough gratitude. Kim feels like she's the one who got them on the map and she feels like she deserves respect for that," the tipster blabs.
Kim told Dr. Lancer after her diagnosis, "My career is doing ad campaigns and swimsuit photo shoots. People don't understand the pressure on me to look perfect. When I gain a pound, it's in the headlines. Imagine what the tabloids would do to me if they saw all these spots."
