Kate Gosselin
Is A Scrooge

Kate Gosselin says that as a single mom to eight kids, Christmas is a giant pain in her butt. Read on to see why!

Kate GosselinThink Christmas at your house is madness? Imagine it with eight kids! Kate Gosselin says she dreads Christmas morning because she does all of the work while everyone else plays.

Think she's being a scrooge? You might think again after she explains why Christmas morning is so chaotic for her.

Kate Gosselin thinks your life is mediocre >>

"Following our mass-gift opening, I know that once again this year I'll sit on the floor for four-plus hours unpacking toys and installing batteries," she wrote on her blog for Coupon Cabin. "I am not exaggerating! My 'hiney' is sore by the time the last toy has been freed from its packaging prison. That is the biggest dread of Christmas with eight kids… and the trash that fills the entire entryway of our house."

It's not all toil and trouble for good old OCD Kate, though -- her kids make sure to throw some love her way while she's slaving to clean up the mess.

Kate Gosselin goes the distance in Las Vegas marathon >>

"Each year following the gift-opening marathon, and the hours of clean up wage on for me, the kids run off playing happily with all their new stuff and I clean up alone in peace and quiet," she wrote. "This is probably my favorite part of the day. Not because of the peace and quiet, but because I have the most grateful kids in the world! They return often while I'm sweeping the floor to thank me again and truly the 'thank yous' don't end until bedtime. The happy chortling that I hear from rooms all over the house really makes ME happy too! I so love Christmas… and I especially love the happy chaos it creates at the Gosselin home!"

No mention on what role, if any, her ex-husband Jon Gosselin plays in the family's holiday celebrations.

I am the youngest of 8, my dad passed away when I was just 6. My Mom always made sure we each had a pile of presents, often they were things we needed a coat, sneakers, socks ect, with a toy or two. She would lock herself in her room for hours wrapping and filling stockings, never not once complained. Thanks Mom, for making Chrismas so special and for all your excitment.

"No mention on what role, if any, her ex-husband Jon Gosselin plays in the family's holiday celebrations"...Of course not...She has been quoted as saying something so dumb like "I have no opinions about what he does because what he does doesn't affect me in any way"...Um...I beg to differ LOL...Tell me, anyone, how you can have EIGHT(count'em 8) KIDS with a man and his actions have no affect on your life what so ever...She is SO STUPID...What HE does will ALWAYS AFFECT HIS KIDS and therefore, like it or not, will ALWAYS AFFECT HER...How can she not see that??..She may wish he was completely gone, but she should be grateful she got 8 big money makers with him...and without the 8 money makers that have supported HER their entire short lives, we wouldn't know from Adam who this B@&%H is...I can see the interest in her is gone judging from by sole comment, but thanks for letting me release a little bit of steam about this woman...The way she has treated and continues to treat her kids drives me absolutely BATTY...lol
