A second baby for Maggie GyllenhaalMaggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard have much to be thankful for. The hot Hollywood couple are expecting their second child together!

Gyllenhaal's rep confirmed the pregnancy rumors after Life and Style published an interview with a friend of the couple spilling their big news.

"Over Thanksgiving weekend, Maggie was telling friends that she's six months pregnant," the pal told the magazine. "Her bump is so big!"

"She's thrilled to be pregnant! She and Peter have wanted another child for a while," said the friend. "They're very happy that they'll have another baby in the house soon."

Her big brother Jake Gyllenhaal is absolutely thrilled over the news.

"Jake is so happy that she's pregnant again because he loves kids. Maggie's said that he's the best uncle and has done a lot of sweet things for her first child."

Gyllenhaal set tongues wagging at the premiere of her latest flick Hysteria on Oct. 28 when she rocked a flowing white goddess gown on the red carpet looking noticeably thicker in the middle.

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard have been together since 2002 and wed in 2009 after the birth of their first child Ramona.

"There's no way to prepare for the challenges, the immense joys, the surprises, the disappointments and the shocks," Gyllenhaal told the Orange County Register in 2010. "Your heart just rips open. It's amazing."

"It teaches you how to manage the unmanageable, and accept that you can't be a perfect mother all the time," she explained. "If you try, it will bring you to your knees."

"Because I am a mom, I've spent a lot of time thinking about children and what they're thinking," she says. "I think that it happens naturally. Before, I wasn't interested in those things, and now I am."
