Bid for TV booty, set visits and more

The Television Academy Foundation’s Holiday Online Auction has officially begun. Check out which hit shows and stars have gifts on the auction block.

Bid on Sue Sylvester's track suit, signed by Jane Lynch

With the holidays upon us, the Television Academy Foundation's Holiday Online Auction has just the thing for the television fanatics on your list and bidding is now open. If you're shopping for someone addicted to Glee, True Blood, House, So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing with the Stars, Community or another primetime show -- not to mention daytime's The Young & The Restless -- check out the meet-and-greets, set visits and memorabilia on the auction block.

But be quick -- some of these auctions close in the next few days.

Items up for bid run the gamut, from celebrity encounters with the hottest TV shows and stars to signed items from the sets — including Sue Sylvester's Glee tracksuit autographed by Jane Lynch, a signed script from The Simpsons, an oversized tennis ball signed by Dr. House (Hugh Laurie) himself, a lab coat signed by the cast of CSI: NY, Cote de Pablo's Star of David from NCIS and a TV Guide Magazine signed by Covert Affairs' Piper Perabo and White Collar's Matt Bomer.

If you're looking for full TV emersion and star encounters, several auction items offer behind-the-scenes fun, including a cut and style by What Not To Wear's Ted Gibson, dinner for four hosted by Hell's Kitchen, plus tickets, set visits and meet-and-greets with shows like So You Think You Can Dance, Community, Young and the Restless, Franklin and Bash, iCarly, Dancing with the Stars, The Colbert Report and True Blood.

Needless to say, all proceeds go to the Foundation's archival and educational initiatives. In addition to the auction, the Foundation has also opened entries to their College Television Awards, which is like the Emmys for college students. Check out what the next generation of TV show creators is up to, or if you are part of the next generation, get in there.
