Girl power! Kristen Stewart punched Chris Hemsworth in the face

Who knew Kristen Stewart could take down the mighty Thor? the Twilight actress recently opened up about her upcoming film Snow White and the Huntsman, which features an action scene that went a little too far.

Snow White and the Huntsman is a twist on the classic fairy tale about the beloved princess. The story centers on the complicated relationship between Snow White and her captor-turned-savior the Huntsman, played by Chris Hemsworth. He's ordered to end her life, but instead of following through, he vows to protect her from the Evil Queen.

Stewart's version of the character is very different from what we've seen in the past. Her Snow White has warrior-like qualities that she uses to fight her own battles. She's not the typical damsel in distress.

When Stewart appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to promote The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part I, she revealed that her Snow White is "very, very fierce." But the role may have gone to her head, considering she accidentally punched her man candy co-star.

Stewart admitted, "I [punched Hemsworth in the face]. I did. It made such a sound, it was in a scene. Girls, if you've ever wondered if it works, it works. It literally spun him right around. I was supposed to miss him by this much. I basically knocked him right out of his close-up. It'll definitely be in the movie."
