Nick Cannon, father of twins Roc and Roe with wife Mariah Carey, explains his take on a publicity-stunt marriage saying, "I can't be mad at the Kardashian empire." He went on to tell Global Grind, "Knowing their entire family, they are really good people. But when you choose to live your life in the public eye, people are going to have opinions. Either way she's getting paper, so you can't be mad at it."
A whole lot of "paper," too. Kim Kardashian has reportedly brought in $20 million by selling the video and photographic rights to her wedding and honeymoon. Unfazed by the amount, as only someone with a sizable fortune themselves could be, Nick Cannon says the criticism is unfair -- and that most people would do the same, if given the chance.
"Either way she caked up what, $17 million off of her wedding?" The man who exchanged vows with Mariah Carey in 2008 continued, "I know a whole bunch of people who will get married and divorce in two months if you could step out with a $17 million check."
Just recently, Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey's twins recently made their public debut on ABC's 20/20. It was also announced the tots' photos will be featured weekly on Dembabies, a newly launched blog owned by their parents.
