Callie Learns Why Three's A Crowd
Meredith meddles, things get a bit too close for comfort with Callie, Arizona and Mark, plus Lee Majors guest-stars on Grey's Anatomy: "Poker Face."
Sex is in the air on tonight's Grey's Anatomy. As seen in the sneak peek below, Cristina and Owen need to get a room, STAT! Alex and Teddy help a sexy senior (Lee Majors) stay in the game, and there may even be a smooch on the schedule for Meredith and Derek! The three-way parenting by Callie, Arizona and Mark, however -- not so sexy.
Most Seattle Grace fans want to know what's going to happen with Meredith, Derek and baby Zola. Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like MerDer is going to get their baby back this week or find any resolution. But with Zola still under Alex's care, they may just get in some face time… or not.
On the work front, Meredith has been blackballed by most of the surgeons, which means she's on the hunt for a new specialty. Of course, being on the outs doesn't keep her from getting involved in everyone else's business. When one of her patients has a rare butterfly brain tumor, she uses Lexie to get Derek on the case. And she also secretly helps April with Bailey's clinical trial, which is not likely to go down well with Bailey.
Alex and Teddy's new patient (Lee Majors) is a no-brainer, until the 71-year-old ladies' man refuses open heart surgery because he doesn't want to scar the merchandise. Alex rolls his eyes at the patient's vain defiance, but Teddy insists they can find an alternative surgery that will keep their patient hot, healthy and on the market.
Callie and Cristina struggle with their own difficult case, but from the Grey's Anatomy promo it's clear Cristina has nothing but "hot, dirty, stand-on-my-head sex" on the brain -- luckily her hubby's on the same page. Unluckily, they can't seem to find a place to make it happen. In the clip below, Cristina and Owen try to squeeze in some on-campus sex, but are interrupted before they can get anywhere.
The only thing worse that being interrupted? Thinking your girl is waking you for a morning romp, only to have your baby daddy jump into bed with the two of you! Arizona and Mark are finally getting along, but it turns out to be a case of "be careful what you wish for" for Callie.
If she can survive tonight's episode, however, word is Mark has a hot little distraction -- or two? -- on the way.
Grey's Anatomy: New, True and returning blood
With Nov. sweeps almost upon us, there are a slew of ladies coming in to shake things up on Grey's Anatomy.
Gossip Girl vixen Holley Fain is set to catch Mark's eye during Nov. sweeps, according to TVLine, but ABC's Grey's Anatomy previews have a new lady showing up as early as next week. Could it be two different ladies? Or will Fain show up a week early?
Either way, after this week's tussle with his baby mama, it seems McSteamy's going to put himself back on the market. Mark's new action may just bring out the green-eyed monster in Lexie, but Alex is also getting some hot competition of his own.
A new pediatric fellow shows up on Alex's turf Nov. 3. The incoming doc will be played by Tara's True Blood girlfriend, Vedette Lim, according to TV Guide and Arizona may just prefer her to go-to-guy Alex. Uh-oh! That same week, Alfre Woodard is also coming over from Bon Temps to check into Seattle Grace, along with Debra Monk, who returns as George O'Malley's mother, Louise.
Finally, now that Charlie's Angels has been canceled, folks are wondering if Grey's can woo back Rachael Taylor. Alex's ex, who stole his job in Africa, should be back at Seattle Grace by Feb. sweeps, according to TVLine.
Oh, and last week's big guest, Debbie Allen, gets behind the camera to direct next week's Oct. 27 episode.
