Michelle Pfeiffer has an open mind about plastic surgery, so long as a person remains recognizable. The 53-year-old doesn't mind a little Botox here or a touch-up there, but considers extreme measures "sad" and "uncomfortable."
Actress Michelle Pfeiffer is in good company in the pages of ELLE magazine's Women in Hollywood 2011, which rounds up the hottest in Tinsletown: icons, scene stealers and ingenues.
When asked about her stance on plastic surgery Michelle Pfeiffer shared with the magazine, "I'm all for a little something here and there-fine. It doesn't matter to me if people have plastic surgery or they don't, or if they do Botox."
The movie icon, who we'll see next in the supernatural drama Dark Shadows, continued, "But when people don't look like themselves anymore, that's when you kind of go, 'Oooh,' and it's kind of sad. It's uncomfortable for us, but if they're happy with what they see in the mirror, does it matter?"
Reflecting back on her 1983 role as Al Pacino's trophy wife in Scarface, Michelle Pfeiffer confesses to feeling like a nobody during filming. "I was terrified the whole time," she says of being in awe of her big name co-stars. "I was so out of my league with all of these seasoned actors. Here I was, this little waify thing in these little flimsy clothes, and who was I? I was the girl from Grease 2!"
Featured alongside Michelle Pfeiffer in the ELLE issue are Jennifer Aniston (dishing on all that baby talk), Elizabeth Olsen (younger sister of twins Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen), and the bisexual Belieber herself, Evan Rachel Wood.
