Hilary Duff turned 24 and all of a sudden, everyone else felt old. Why you ask? Because if you're a celeb watcher, you know that Hilary Duff has been on television since the age of fourteen when she was cast in the starring role of Lizzie McGuire on the hit Disney Channel series of the same name.
After 65 episodes of the show, the channel wanted to expand the series and move it to prime-time. Her representatives nixed the idea because she wouldn't be paid enough to do the series. Soon after, the good girl dated the bad boy when Duff famously dated Aaron Carter, who later left her for Lindsay Lohan.
In 2003, she made her feature film debut opposite Frankie Muniz in Agent Cody Banks. She then played one of the 12 in the Steve Martin films Cheaper by the Dozen and Cheaper by the Dozen 2. Duff later released an album titled Metamorphosis which reached number one on both the United States and Canadian charts. She later dated Good Charlotte's Joel Madden for two years.
Duff's pursued a career in fashion, appeared in some of the hottest shows on television (Gossip Girl) and designed a line of clothing for DKNY Jeans titled FEMME for DKNY. In 2010, Duff and her boyfriend of three years, Mike Cornie, announced their engagement.
That same year, Duff became a published author with the New York Times Bestseller, Elixir. The sequel, Devoted, will be released in October of 2011.
She and Cornie announced through her website on their first anniversary that they will become first-time parents in 2012.
The couple stated, "I can't believe that it has already been a year, time really flies when you're having fun. We also want to share the exciting news that BABY MAKES THREE!"
