New Movies on DVD/Blu-Ray

Thor: In this special effects showcase, Shakespearean expert Kenneth Branagh takes Marvel Comics hero Thor and his dysfunctional royal family to epic new levels. In the far-off world of Asgard, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is cocky, commanding and insanely boastful of his entitlement to the throne, not to mention his ability to kick some serious ass. On the very day he's supposed to inherit the throne, however his arrogance lands him in hot water with his father, King Odin (Anthony Hopkins). Much to the thrill of his slightly mad, intensely jealous brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Thor is banished to Earth, where he must find humility before he can regain his power and his kingdom. While there, he falls in with a band of scientists led by Natalie Portman, and the adventure -- and romance! – begins.

The Star Wars Saga gets a Blu-Ray releaseStar Wars: The Complete Sage: The Star Wars saga gets the Blu-ray treatment in a release featuring all six movies, along with over 40 hours of special features and extra footage.

Hesher: Joseph Gordon-Levitt is Hesher, a heavy metal-loving, greasy-haired loner with homemade tattoos and a penchant for blowing things up. Somehow, Hesher's is just what the doctor ordered for TJ (Devin Brochu) and his father, Paul (Rainn Wilson), who are lost after the death of TJ's mother. Natalie Portman (who tends to show up more than once in these DVD/Blu-Ray reports!) goes awkward as the grocery clerk who becomes TJ's protector and object of desire.
