Pole dancers, high divers and magicians -- you name it, they graced the America's Got Talent stage this season. There could only be one winner however, and that was...
Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. is your new America's Got Talent champion. Are you happy about it?
Here's how the results show went down: each of the four finalists got a chance to perform with their personal idol.
Up first was Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. and Patti LaBelle. He's 37 and she's 67, as she pointed out, and they "rocked" that stage to the fullest!
Next up was Team iLuminate and Cobra Starship! Team iLuminate was kind enough to lend the band some wireless lights to put on their own costumes.
They made us feel so good with You Make Me Feel. The only thing that bothered us was they couldn't completely turn the lights off so you didn't get the whole light-up effect -- boo!
Talk about beautiful! Silhouettes teamed up with LeAnn Rimes for a gorgeous fusion of music and imagery. This is why they belong on stage! Any act that can bring tear to your eye like that is just brilliant.
Poplyfe didn't do so well during the finals, but they turned it out for their duet with Stevie Wonder. We're still wondering if Poplyfe's lead singer is having vocal issues because despite being solid with Stevie, she sounded a bit scratchy.
When it came down to the votes, Poplyfe, which wasn't a surprise, came in fourth. The third place act was a shock to us -- Team iLuminate.
We had called the final two would be Team iLuminate and Silhouettes and we were wrong. It turned out to be Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. and Silhouettes, with crooner Landau taking the prize and headlining show in Vegas!
What did you think of the finale of America's Got Talent? Did the right act win?
